If you want market share, you have to win the decisive matches.

Nobody wins all the matches. However, the question arises as to which matches could have been won. Were they the lucrative ones and why were they lost? If you win every second project, you also lose half, and a 50% market share is rather rare.

The most common causes of lost projects:

Defeating easy competitors is easy. Defeating strong competitors requires a high degree of personal and professional maturity as well as diligence in planning and implementing the winning strategy. On top of this, openness and reflection are required in order to be able to make the necessary changes quickly. In my professional practice, I have been able to get to know many talented people and I really enjoy working with them. However, it is part of the truth that these talents and even the hard-working ones are in the minority.
